Physics Modeling: Chapter 2 Examples

A particle model with constant acceleration.  The ball represents the particle and the arrow represents the velocity.

Euler Falling Ball Visualization

The Euler Falling Ball Visualization model adds a graphical user interface to the  Euler Falling Ball model.

This  Euler Falling Ball Visualization model shows:

  1. how to display moving objects
  2. how to display data
  3. how to start, stop, and reset a simulation
  4. how to input data to a simulation

Related Models

The following EJS models are described in Chapter 2.

The Euler Falling Ball Visualization model was created by Wolfgang Christian using the Easy Java Simulations (EJS) modeling tool version 4.1.  You can examine and modify the model for this simulation if you have Ejs installed by right-clicking within the program and selecting "Open Ejs Model" from the pop-up menu.

Information about Ejs is available at: <http://www.um.es/fem/Ejs/> and in the OSP comPADRE collection <http://www.compadre.org/OSP/>.
